Antonio García de Castro

Antonio García de Castro has been the Executive President of San Telmo Business School since September 2019. Previously, he was General Director and Dean of San Telmo Business School and Fundación San Telmo since 1986. He has also been a professor of Business Policy since 1986. During this period as CEO of San Telmo, the business school has internationalized, beginning to have activities in Africa, America and different European countries (Russia, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland, ...). He studied civil engineering and did an MBA at IESE, University of Navarra. He has participated in numerous Senior Management programs and has also taken specialization doctoral courses in Business Policy at IESE and in 2010 he participated in the IESE International Faculty Program. In addition to being Executive President of San Telmo, he is a member of the Board of Directors of several Spanish and Portuguese companies from different sectors: agribusiness, automotive, retail, hotels, real estate, innovation services, logistics, the textile industry and construction. In the academic area, he is a professor of Business Policy at the San Telmo Business School and visiting professor at several business schools in different countries: IESE, AESE (Portugal), INALDE (Colombia), IPADE (Mexico). He has carried out a large number of consultancies, published different works and written numerous cases; in particular, since 2009 he has written more than ten cases on Nestlé. Other notable cases are Mapfre, Coca Cola and other leading companies. In 2018 he created the Business Policy International Advisory Board. The Advisory Council is a project whose main objective is to publicize the San Telmo Trade Policy area and its programs worldwide. It is chaired by Nestlé Chairman Emeritus Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, and there are different members from around the world. All of them, great CEOs and presidents of leading companies. He has also carried out a large number of consultancies, published different works and written numerous cases.
