Luis Mesquita Dias

Luis Mesquita Dias, graduated in Economics from ISCEF (now ISEG). After working for 5 years in a family held business in the Navigation area, he joined Unilever in 1979 as a Management Trainee where he held marketing roles in Portugal and Belgium and of General Manager in Thailand, Spain and again in Portugal. Between 2009 and 2021 he was a member of the Board of Directors and General Director of Vitacress. Mesquita Dias was always active in the associative area, having taken on the presidency of the Portuguese and European Margarine Associations, as well as the presidency of FIPA (Portuguese Federation of Agrofood Industry). Having finished his executive activity in 2021, he formed the consulting company LMD+ through which he supports several companies, including Vitacress itself. He is currently president of AHSA (Association of Horto Fruti Floricultores de Odemira and Odeceixe), president of Agrotejo and member of the Advisory Board of ABMira and ESBUC in Oporto.
